Yes. I'm sure that's the answer. Lets surrender our homes to these illegals and thugs. Lets transfer the whole neighborhood. Get me the President on the phone.

I would agree with if not for the fact that the Police in these demoncrat cities will not do their job.

What if all of the tax payers money going to send and feed and hotel up the soldiers go towards training and boosting up the PD in major cities?

Raise the pay of law enforcement and teachers.

Here is the reality. NO is a poorly governed city in a poorly governed State and has a rock solid Democrat majority, which you will never change. This majority seems to like the status quo.

Your city is already lost.

Why put teachers in this statement? I swear you teacher cheerleaders are insufferable.

Because I think getting a better school system will help inspire even the poorest of people to think and strive to get out of their surroundings.

Help in the front end to support the cops later.

Have to start from the beginning or it keeps repeating

That's because you're naive. Look at Baltimore. They continually spend more money per student and get worse results each time. You can't buy your way out of a shitty culture. Their home environment ruins them before they even have a chance.

Your plan has been in play for many years in Baltimore and has not worked. We can already see and measure the results of your plan.

Trillions spent on education and getting worse and worse results. Teachers are no good if the culture sucks.

How’s that working?
We have 30 years of data that says otherwise.

bullshite. They are not hellholes. You can have a nice life in New Orleans, Chicago or Chicago. I live in NOLA and have spent plenty of time in S.F. on business and Chicago for pleasure…

Was in NOLA two weeks ago for a conference. A two block walk from hotel to bus stop. Littered with homeless and gangsters. One day a dead guy laying on the sidewalk in front of my hotel, no one gave a shite, including me.

Many years? Sooo.. the 4th graders haven't helped society?
Dumb take.

And looking at student surveys in Baltimore it seems the consensus is that the teachers are very dedicated yet the resources and buildings are still in poor condition.

It takes a holistic approach and time.

Again, im all for putting finances in all public servants.
Police, teachers, soldiers.

Not politicians. They make too much to actually care anymore.

When was the last decade where police were in a position to truly perform their jobs in a Democrat controlled city? Do you know how difficult it is to police a Democrat city where black assailants are looked at as the good guys by the media and the leftist that defend them as well?

Trillions.
Fun number. Average pay for teachers in Louisiana is 55k. Well below the national Average of 77k.

I agree that parenting is a problem. But thats on both sides of the spectrum.

Make education a priority. shite, im even for keeping schooling from 7 to 6. Add some real life skills, dinner, and allow parents to work.

Thanks to Mitch Landrieu, he ignored the severe police shortage after Katrina and did not address it.
