For 28 years I had to hold my nose to vote for Bush, Mcain, Romney, W, etc….

Even though they didn’t ever move our country forward. But one time the other half of our party can’t vote Trump even though he has a proven track record of putting our country in the best position it had ever been in.

If you pretend that 2020 didn't exist then you might have a point

Vote who you choose, I don't care. You're not going to change your mind.

Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself of something here though.

If you pretend Joe Biden got 81 million legitimate votes in 2020, then you have a point.

Trump let Covidians try to destroy the nation.

Then bailed them out.

Everything we face today has its roots right there.

Defeatist attitude. I stroll into the voting place cawk in hand. That’s called big cawk energy. This country has been going backwards since Kennedy. But voting will fix that …………….. sure. Gaddafi style treatment of politicians is the only way to fix it. Bring on the purge

You're not gonna fix the country with a pair of tweezers. The country is in a state of slow-motion 911. Although Desantis appears to be a terrific candidate, Trump is still the answer to fix this intolerable mess.

Covid was to stop Trump. The nation was collateral damage.

You mean the year the Chinese released a terrible virus on us all and we still pretend it wasn't their fault?

The Pearl Harbor of the millenial era and we do the millenial solution - blame someone that has mean tweets and apologize to the people that started it.

2020 was China's fault.

And whatever legislation passed congress in 2020 was veto proof. There is nothing Trump could have done about the spending. Every senator and almost every congressman voted for massive COVID spending.

And don't confuse COVID mandates with Trump. That came with Biden. The vaccine was introduced after Biden won in December of 2020.

But before that Trump gave us the most peaceful foreign policy in my lifetime...more peaceful than Reagan. He was U.S. centric on trade policy. He closed the southern border. There was no chaos down there. He cut massive regulations which led to good energy policy to the point where we were net energy exporters.

I know people don't like Trump's personality but it is hard to deny he did a lot of good things which led to a lot of good times especially for the middle and working class. With times like that I can handle gruff personalities. My feelings are not that sensitive.

Trump failed to listen to his instincts and listened to the wrong people (Fauci, et al).

With veto proof appropriations how was Trump going to stop them?

Correct

And politically he shot himself in the foot all year

He should have not been on TV damn near every day with these COVID press conferences but he can't stay away from the camera

shite, Trump even made it a MAGA issue. He offered zero pushback and even promoted it.

quote:

WASHINGTON — President Trump on Friday signed into law a historic $2.2 trillion coronavirus rescue package, the largest stimulus deal in United States history, as the pandemic devastates the nation’s economy and sickens thousands.

“This will deliver urgently needed relief to our nation’s families, workers and businesses and that’s what this is all about,” Trump said in the Oval Office flanked by GOP lawmakers and administration officials.

“I want to thank Republicans and Democrats for coming together, setting aside their differences and putting America first,” he added.

The bill includes $500 billion in direct checks to American families, $500 billion in small business loans, $150 billion in hospital funding and a $150 billion relief fund for state and local governments, among other measures.

There are no instincts to follow during a pandemic. You have to rely on experts especially when you have no scientific are medical background.

Before COVID Trump advisors were going by the old definition of vaccine.

I'm sure if he knew the bar was going to lowered to the new definition of vaccine he would have received advice which would have led to second thoughts on Operation Warp Speed.

I will vote for Trump if he is the Republican nominee, if not, I will vote for whoever is. Any conservative that doesn't do this is part of the problem. It's us vs. them. The Patriots vs the Socialists. All this infighting is just the propaganda machine trying to turn us against each other. I know that most of you are smart enough to see that.
