What do I have to vent about? How you are characterizing me doesn't make sense with what I've said.

I have no problem admitting there is black privilege. I've said as much on here before. It's you melanin-deprived folks who get all buttthurt when they hear the word "privilege"

Oh, you a real black guy? shite, I guess I'm so overly black obsessed I didn't even know. It thought you were just another Tigah in the ATL white-guilt ridden type.

So, can you answer my question to Strong Safety and confirm or deny FT's hypothesis here? You scared to eat watermelon in "mixed company"?

Thanks in advance.

OK, great. That's good to hear. You said you were "fricking frustrated" and I started to get a little worried for you.

I was trying to explain to you the frustration that the non-racist white majority feels toward constant bullshite race-baiting. And how it is damaging to our entire country. I wasn't talking about me personally. That was quite clear.

But, congrats, life is harder for black people and I'm so silly to be white and even mention these things so hahahaha. Good job.

Ehh nah not really bc IDGAF.

If I was the only black guy around a group of whites and none of them liked watermelon so I'd essentially be the only one eating, I might slightly hesitate

I didn't I said any of this, but if that's what you read, so be it.

Of course, I suppose you're not a "community leader" so your opinion doesn't mean shite. Thanks for the response, nonetheless. I've never encountered such a phenomenon so I was a bit suspect. I may not be as down as FT, though.

LOOK HOW NOT RACIST I AM
By the way, this was a joke on what SuperSaint was saying, we should be more sensitive to others' racial insecurities. Sounds to me like this is what he wants, and I was lampooning that. Apparently some didn't get that.

Still waiting on medicalgrind's explanation on how I misinterpreted him.

A current Raptors player said the tradition began when players bought watermelons from a man who had been selling them on their route to the game. If they won the game, the team decided, they would eat the watermelon. After they did win, they smashed the watermelon on the ground and then ate it.

So the players themselves bought and ate the watermelon? The coach didn't even fricking come up with the idea

All this seems like was a butthurt opposing fan over losing to them and made a big deal over nothing, and of course the administration decides to appease the idiot instead of ignoring him. I hope the guy gets his job back..this is fricking ridiculous. I hate what this country has become

Umm saying life isn't harder for white people does not I'm arguing that life is harder for black people. I abhor the victim mentality, no matter who employs it.

I have never met a white person who doesn't like watermelon. But then, I absolutely hate coconuts. And that can be considered racist if you watch some old Betty Boop Cartoons.

The whole thing was beside the point.

[Some] black people know they can cry racist at every turn, to get their way. Or they're simply oversensitive.

[Some] white people are terrified of black people, especially being considered racist by black people, so they cave in and avoid issues and enable black bigotry (a lot of this is based in their own "soft" bigotry)

This is very bad for our country, for race relations and unity. And it is rampant.

These are things I observe. Victimhood for a specific race or person, least of all me personally, is totally irrelevant. Do you believe there is truth to what I've said? Or not?
