A few years back we got stuck on I-70 in CO waiting for an avalanche to be cleared. So we camped out at a McDonald’s for a couple hours. My kids were amazed at how different the experience was compared to almost any here in Baton Rouge.

Imagine Texas is engulfed in a war with Mexico. Would you expect New Yorkers to be hunkered down for a year? I don’t understand this narrative.

I think it’s more about our culcha than the funding for the war.
We cannot have a McDonalds like that in the best of times here now. Especially in blue cities.

The fighting and front lines are like 500 miles from Kiev. Ukraine is a huge country although with missile technology Kiev is still in range.
