If memory serves and I’m sure someone else here can answer more correctly but there is no real way to tell how much a certain song played at a certain venues would be worth to the artist. My understanding is that all the money from all the songs is pooled and then distributed based upon a clandestine formula.
So IOW, Foo Fighters are taking out of their arse.
When you consider how much radio play (terrestrial and satellite) an artist’s music gets, one play isn’t shite.
So yeah, they’re talking out of their asses.

Maybe they will do like Pink and forbid Trump supporters from listening to their music.
Already done. She didn’t even have to forbid me.

I suspect they are about to see the boomerang effect of this for nothing but a bit of trite pointless grandstanding.

I don’t understand why anybody in the entertainment industry would alienate their fan base. Entertain us and STFU. But then again that shows how the leftist mind works. Piss on you, we know what’s best for you.

You can license a song for a few hundred dollars FYI
That song is 27 years old so I doubt it costs a lot to license
The Kamala campaign isn't exactly going to get a windfall from this

Rich elitists supporting rich elitists.
This is the part I don’t get about Trump supporters. Trump IS a rich elitist. He’s the epitome of rich elite. Born into generational wealth, lifestyles of the rich and famous and a celebrity because of his wealth. Yet people talk like he’s the one who grew up in Oakland and worked his way up medial jobs before running for office.

Well, it looks like I won't be donating again this week.

The Soy Fighters fall dutifully in line to their corporatist masters, preach conformity and adherence to the status quo and slur anyone who dissents. Sounds about right. No surprise.

The same people who run music and Hollywood also run the DNC.
It’s actually not that hard to understand.

So the whole groupd decided to do this or David Grohl decided and the others knew better than to disagree.
He and they are entitled to their opinions - I'll still listen to and buy their music. I'm not going to let politics ruin everything.

But that’s not what the artist sees. It’s been a few years since I did this with my son, he’s contracted with BMI and ASCAP (subtle brag), but all the money from all the artists goes into a pool and it gets divided based on some secret formula.

Literally not a single Trump supporter thinks this.

Proceeds from Trump usage of their song to the Harris campaign
This would be a very low number. The Trump campaign almost certainly has a blanket license covering a wide array of songs.

As I recall, clubs and venues also pay X amount per month to ASCAP if ASCAP can find them to shake them down. It’s a huge racket.

Not surprised, the group pushed the magic inoculation during the scamdemic. Poo~sliders as they are now affectionately referred to .

1. IF any lawsuit was to happen and come to fruition, it would be LONG after the campaign is over so just the statement itself is stupid.
2. The Trump campaign received authorization from BMI, who owns the rights to the Foo Fighter’s music so they have no case as they don’t even own those rights.
It’s just another gasp in the death roll that is the Kamala campaign.
