I've had 6 employees test positive. 1 of them had the flu vaccine.

This suggests that CV19 was in the flu vaccine.

It says died, not contracted.

I would believe it. It is very well documented that the flu shot compromises your immune system.

For how long?
Not that I don’t believe it, it just seems very weird.

Or maybe Covid triggered a chemical/viral reaction when combined with flu vaccine. Maybe intentionally.

I got a flu vaccine shot and a pneumonia vaccine shot at the same time back in Nov. Less than four hours later at the house I told the wife that it felt like someone had their size 18 foot on my chest. Till this day about every 10 -15 days I have a "heavy" chest that last for two to three days and then goes away.

Appreciate the OP but maybe edit your title to include "Flu Vaccine and Covid."

Not to be mean, but that sounds like unstable angina.

The fact that you got the vaccine for pneumonia means you are likely older which makes this more likely.

If you haven't been checked out cardio wise, I think you should consider it.

For at least twenty years.
I would suggest starting with the Ohio State studies of children immune system antibodies for kids with and without the flu shot.

The more recent studies show the increased risks for infants and the elderly.

I've actually seen the opposite

LINK

quote:

We analyzed data from 92,664 clinically and molecularly confirmed Covid-19 cases in Brazil to understand the potential associations between influenza vaccination and Covid-19 outcomes. Controlling for health facility of treatment, comorbidities as well as an extensive range of sociodemographic factors, we show that patients who received a recent influenza vaccine experienced on average 8% lower odds of needing intensive care treatment (95% CIs [0.86, 0.99]), 18% lower odds of requiring invasive respiratory support (0.74, 0.88) and 17% lower odds of death (0.75, 0.89). Large scale promotion of influenza vaccines seems advisable, especially in populations at high risk of severe SARS-CoV-2 infection.

LINK

quote:

Under this setting, we hypothesize that children generate multifactorial immunity with the repeated influenza exposure that would offer bystander immune response in case they became infected with the new SARS-CoV-2. It might be possible also that individuals who received prior Flu vaccination might show mild severity of COVID-19 because of Flu-induced bystander effect of the generated immune responses which itself might cross react against SARS-CoV-2. Due to this cross reactivity between Flu and SARS-CoV-2, we suggest that the Flu-induced bystander immunity is more of beneficial effects to COVID-19 than those suggested by MMR and BCG vaccines

Given the safety of Flu vaccine in adult, we recommend the use of Flu vaccine, at least in part, as a bystander adjuvant to minimize the severity of COVID-19 disease.

I know this: I got the flu shot for geezers in mid-October of 2019 and it made me sick. Very low grade fever, but mostly just an overall tired and goofy feeling for about 72 hours. It felt like altitude sickness and I live at sea level. It absolutely was depleted oxygen levels in my blood and hence, hypoxia. Never saw a doctor, but the whole manifestation recurred around late February. Again, 2 or 3 days and gone. ???

"Coronavirus is 1.36 meaning 36% higher risk.

The influenza virus overall is 0.57 meaning the risk of contracting the flu was reduced overall. Three variants of flu did not receive a statistically significant reduction in risk.

Three of 8 evaluations noted a statistically insignificant benefit for the flu shot. Meanwhile, shot takers were at increased risk for coronavirus of 36%."
