If you come across a Florida resident claiming to support Ron DeSantis, tell them to post “I LOVE RON DESANTIS” on their Facebook page, Instagram or social media, and watch what happens. They won’t do it, because they don’t want to be ridiculed by their community network. Yes, it really is that obvious and that bad.

You've become a desperate clown.

It's hard to run for president unless you have nothing better to do than Truth out or play golf (keep up with legal fees).
It's better to run while the brand is hot, like being an active governor. Name brand diminishes quickly when one is a has been.

The 2024 GOP primary is 2016 redux. Cruzbots are now Ronbots joined with the Jeb globalists donors.
Except not exactly. I was the loudest Trump supporter on this board in 2015. I just can't bring myself to accept the "it's his turn" narrative for Trump. Trump has a ridiculously large amount of solidified support and shouldn't feel threatened by a popular governor shooting his shot.

I meant the Florida people selfishly wish for him to remain governor.
Posted on 5/26/23 at 8:33 am to GumboPot
Ok so I'll preface this by admission that I'm a Trump first guy. And then I'll say that I will vote for Ron should he manage to beat out Trump for the nomination.
But really...
Not true. He actually has some hype and some accolades behind him.
Most people have learned to remain politically silent on major social media to avoid cancellation and or ridicule. Ask someone to post "I LOVE DONALD TRUMP" or, conversely, "I LOVE JOE BIDEN" on Facebook or Twatter and watch the mass hilarity ensue. This is bad take.
I don't know what his actual Presidential campaign groundswell is like, but I know the majority of my FL peeps do like the guy, and it's pretty clear that his overwhelming reelection as Governor is hard evidence of this fact.
This reads as if it's an obvious smear piece by a petulant immature teenager. We have to do better than attacking conservative candidates with strategies used by the left. It's unbecoming and makes us look bad.

In the state of Florida, support for Ron DeSantis 2024 is maybe in the 15 to 20% range (I’m being generous). Beyond that, he is not liked at all.

He doesn’t. DeSantis is running away next week to campaign outside Florida because the sunlight down here is too hot

I only read a little bit of this thread and the democrat CruzRubioCrew bot trolls are pathetic.
They are democrats, neocon neverTrumpers with a yuge case of TDS, flaming because they can't speak on the issues. Watch how they reply in this thread. Sir Winston is thee king of trolling along with the dude that posted the antartica threads. Mates, Sir Winston is out of the closet and suddenly hates Trump-shocker! He has more class & talent in his prayer rug than these amateur trolls.
Little Jebbie! gonna make everything alright for them.
The pathetic CruzRon!Crew can do nothing but troll because they can't frame it in a way to not piss off all of Trump's voters
DeSantis is the epitome of the swamp. He has a record of voting with the establishment while he was in DC. He even sponsored making Puerto Rico a State to please the democrat uniparty. Christina Pushaw hung up when asked about DeSantis sponsoring H.R. 6246
H.R. 6246
You know it is going in a Jebbie! way of a floating dumpster fire for Ron. When he scheduled a Newsmax taping to disavow Paul Ryan. When DeSantis is on video saying he will be like Paul Ryan.
Months ago Paul Ryan endorsed him. Why was Ron! silent when he was being lauded by the Paul Ryan's and Jeb's? He was basking in their piles of cash.

I am sure he has some support but most of the hard core conservatives I know support Trump . Desantis changed the law so he could run for president with out stepping down . That is something Trump will use against him a lot .

There is no "it's his turn" narrative. That's a figment of your imagination.
If you are deducing Trump's desire for loyalty as "it's his turn" narrative remember Trump has always demanded loyalty from friends, family, and business and political associates. He overtly communicates that loyalty is important to him. You give it and he will return it. He gives it, he expects some back.

Ron DeSantis: 'I will be somebody like a Paul Ryan very quickly.'
But he disavowed Paul Ryan on Newsmax last night
Like Ukraine. When is he telling the truth?

Floridian here, completely false.
Ditto, I wish he hadn't run because I don't believe he has a chance of winning, but he is a great Governor! I'm not mad since he doesn't have to give up his position to run. He will continue to do great things for the state of Florida as he has done.

Damn Pot. You don't have to post utter trash to win man. Bad look.

The only people that seem to be furious are people with references to Cajun culture in their handles.
