“To be eligible for the DISCOUNT, you will need to bring a government issued photo ID and your PHYSICAL COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card,” the website where tickets can be purchased states.

“You will need to have had your second shot of Pfizer or Moderna, or your single shot of Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine on or before 6/12/2021. If you do not care about the discount, tickets are available for a flat rate of $999.99,” the website says.

WFTS reports Paul Williams of Leadfoot Promotions came up with the idea in an effort to put on a safe show. He told the news outlet he believed it would be a good incentive for people in the community to get the critical vaccine.

“We’re just trying to do a show safely. And they should go out and get vaccinated to protect themselves and their families and their community,” Williams told WFTS.

Williams said he will not be denying entry to unvaccinated concertgoers who pay the price of just under $1,000.

Nothing says punk rock like conforming to what your government expects of you.

I am still trying to really figure out how someone else being vaccinated helps me.

Could you imagine Sid Vicious, Johnny Rotten, or Joey Ramone getting down with this kind of shite?

There's a reason why no one's heard of those bands...

I checked the line up, and although the bands are unfamiliar to me, they are listed as "punk".

I thought you were being facetious, you now have my apology. Your comment was spot on. To amplify I have seen comments from original punk rockers who sound positively MAGA today. Another step forward into the modern Clown World.

They’re in Fla, there’s no requirement.

At this point this is pvt biz action. You’re remedy is to not go and deny them $. There’s no basis for any kinda lawsuit.

Who the f is going to see Teenage Bottlerocket, MakeWar and Rutterkin anyway? If you sink $18 into a ticket, you've already overpaid. Nothing says punk rock like kowtowing to the government and getting vaccinated.

This is the legit science we have been missing.

Clearly, if you are dumb enough to pay $1,000 for a shitty concert, then you are definitely too dumb to be able to effectively transmit the virus to anyone else.

They are admitting the vaccine doesn’t protect you from the covid.
