No. There are more Floridians who don’t want Trump to run than this guy.
The in-fighting he complains about is mostly started by Trump. Zero effort by Trump to unify.

So it will be against Ron too.

First of all, your anecdotal evidence outside the U.S. has no consequence on U.S. elections. Second should we trust your anecdotal evidence inside the U.S. versus the totality of professional polling?
Furthermore, I accept your anecdotal evidence. I posted an anecdote in the OP. The key question is, does my anecdote match the totality of professional polling? (Note I said totality of polling to eliminate outliers.) And when a anecdote becomes anecdotes that match professional polling trends, then we are on to something concrete that increases the probability that current sentiment will result in a certain outcome.

Guy makes a lot of good points and I think DeSantis has put himself in a position now that, if he doesn't win this presidential election or at least become the nominee, he's done politically. Floridians, myself included, are not happy that just a few months ago he was "all in" on governor and now he's a presidential candidate.
That's why it made absolutely no sense for him to jump in. He gets nothing out of it but full Trump vigor. Thing is - he knew that was going to happen, as did all of his supporters. It's like they were watching a train coming by, told everyone they were going to jump in front of it, and then did.
Now they're like "Why is this happening? Why is Trump going after us like this? Why is his insane base so fired up over all this?"

Here (wrote this in the post above yours):
3. Suburban white wine moms. This is a very fickle voting block that can swing elections. They can swing election enough so to make Democrat ballot harvesting efforts useless. If Biden is the candidate and Trump continues to run as a "reasonable moderate candidate" against DeSantis running to the right (this does Trump a favor), Trump can neutralize the social issues during the general and make economic and foreign policy front and center. Feed the wine mom's family and keep their sons out of wars. That is the key to getting the suburban white wine mom vote.

Trump will never be president again. What he can do is guarantee democrats remain in office, and democrats know this.
GOPe never trump cucks have been bashing Trump and fighting him at every turn since 2016. And when peoplestart hating the political establishment because of it, its also trump’s fault? Not to mention those of us who were tired of the establishment before Trump ever came around.
I get that Trump has been childishly attacking Desantis and all that. But the division goes back much further. Most of us will never support a GOPe rube like Jeb Bush again. Blaming Trump for that development is nonsesical. The GOPe has got itself in this predicament.

Because Trump was just going to sit back and take it?
Second, Trump did try to unify. It started with Trump trying to mend the rift between Wiley and DeSantis.
DeSantis went to the GOPE. Period.

IF Trump isn't nominated, I would like to say I won't vote for DeSantis but let's be honest... what other choice is there? Regardless how one feels about DeSantis voting Democrat isn't an option. The Democrat nominee will be Newson, Biden will not end up running.

They despise Trump and Trump First candidates.
Trump is the reason R's are losing the suburbs

Go read Rich Baris’ stuff. He explains it well.
Many of the younger independent voters didn’t know who Biden was in 2020.
Example: He did a poll on the if people knew the laptop was real would they have still voted for Biden, and almost all said no.
Then…you have the economy issue. Most of this younger (especially first time homebuyers) voters are definitely switching to Trump.

No they don’t. I believe Trump gained in this demographic in 2020. Stop believing 2019 media narratives.

Plenty of Trump fans have declared they wouldn’t vote for Desantis. You’d just be one more.
Heck, a couple of days ago said they wouldn’t vote for Ron vs Biden.
Trump ruined some folks when he told them to hate Ron after Don heaped praise on him.
It’s really wild to watch.
Cult of Personality isn’t just a song unfortunately.
