Federal Emergency Management Agency is there for Americans All any president has ever done is sign paperwork for something that will happen

I believe, the President has to issue an emergency declaration before FEMA can act. Has he done that?

Today, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. declared that an emergency exists in the State of Florida and ordered Federal assistance to supplement State, tribal, and local response efforts due to the emergency conditions resulting from Tropical Storm Ian beginning on September 23, 2022, and continuing.

The President’s action authorizes the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), to coordinate all disaster relief efforts which have the purpose of alleviating the hardship and suffering caused by the emergency on the local population,

Googled it and answered my own question.

To close to midterms for either side to mess up. Both sides will be trying to find a way to make the other slip up.

There will probably be a hot mic everywhere DeSantis goes.

What's your point?
When Cali allows this to happen vs seasonal storms that you said yourself Man Cannot Control the Weather.

Texas has more acres of forests, yet they don't have near the issues because of prescribed burns and proper management.

Cali? They purposefully mismanage which creates the powder kegs.

Once again, Trump was right and you are uninformed.

Gee I don't know. Considering that Florida is the 3rd most populous state in the country I think it might raise a few eyebrows if he tells them to F off in the event of a natural disaster.

My neighbor got the call on Sunday. His crew was burying electric lines somewhere around Killeen, Tx. He’s been in northern Florida waiting since Monday night.

09/24/22? What the hell was he waiting on?!!

He lost several days that federal resources could have been preparing for the catastrophe. What an ineffective dimwit.

Am I doing it right progs?

We're talking about the dude who refused to take the governor's calls in the run-up. The guy who instead put calls into Democrat Mayors and told them "if you need anything, circumvent Tallahassee and call Wash DC directly"? That guy? Yeah, he's paid a really heavy price for that BS.

Keep in mind that this administration literally tried to murder Floridians cutting them off from monoclonal antibody treatments at the height of their pandemic and said they needed to equitably distribute the treatments to other states that weren’t seeing spikes. Biden’s administration may intentionally try to make this worse than Katrina in an effort to destroy DeSantis, especially with the election being a month and a half away.

Yeah, on Fox and the Daily Wire. They're looking to gut DeSantis and it's a month from the election. They're hoping that enough idiots in Florida fall for it and vote in Crist, at which time then the Feds will send in their full relief.

The democrats have displayed their inability to be impartial in regards to medical services, teaching, judicial system… etc.

There is nothing to suggest they suddenly found an ability to be impartial and fair.
