Before you go buy that steer check around to see if you can find a locker plant that has an opening to butcher it. Some are booking for next year now and full up now.

Otherwise you will either have a steer eating and fertilizing your lawn for a few months or you will be killing and cutting it up in your kitchen.

Got a sweet deal in the Costco parking lot 29 dollars for 20 prime filets.

$12/lb for tri tip at Breaux Mart. Usually $7-8/lb.

Kroger (King Soopers out here) always has some good marked down prices.

My Nephew has a “farm to table” operation in Geneva County Alabama. The Beef is out of this world!!!
