Few potentials as to why General Bussiere retired
He was indicated as a potential candidate to fill the vacant CSAF role
Yesterday it was announced that General Wilsbach would be coming out of retirement to accept the CSAF role
Conflict between those 2 potentially? Scorn over being passed over for this position? Obviously also the potential exists for conflicting views with current Admin.

There's more that hasn't been discussed yet. Leaders now will also be accountable for the way they hold their troops accountable. Too many fatties in your unit, you get poor FITREPs.
There are a lot of folks that going to leave the military that haven't figured it out, yet. Taking antidepressants, gone. ADHD meds, gone. Can't shave, gone. Can't meet height/weight standards, gone. Can't meet a genderless infantry readiness standard, gone.

Because his nomination was withdrawn for Vice Chief. And I am sure he is not in support of the Sec War and POTUS. Appreciate he did it the honorable way. However, he will be on MSDNC in the coming months. Of that I am sure.
