Isn't it weird that you and your kind would rather laser focus on a random out of context comment instead of the president's broader message that something should be done about the forest fires and mismanagement of resources in California?
Finland: we take care of our forests. We monitor them and care for them. We don't have too many fires.
Trump: I spoke to Finland, they take care of their forests. They trim and rake them. They have less forest fires. Maybe we should try that. We should do something proactive about these fires and take care of our forests.
Progressives: Trump is a moron! And a liar! They never said specifically rake!
Normal People: Yeah, ok. But seriously shouldn't we do something about the forest fires? They're getting our of hand and nothing is done.
Progressives: Trump is bad! Trump is mean! Don't you understand!

There are PLENTY of mismanaged funds in Louisiana. And I wish someone would put a national message out about how pathetic we are. A massive reason for the flooding after Katrina and the levees breaking was a direct result of governmental negligence and mismanagement. The Sewage and Water Board was a bloated mess of incompetence and waste under Landrieu that directly resulted in another city wide flood. I'd welcome some insults directed towards our pathetic politicians in this state.

The guy is a fricking buffoon... constantly pretending he knows wtf he's talking about to justify his insults... in the campaign didn't know the difference between the budget deficit, trade deficits, and the accumulated national debt... thought Hillary was taking bleach to her server... who after Hurricane Maria didn't even know Puerto Ricans are Americans... I could go on and on with his abject STUPIDITY that's engendered by his narcissistic personality disorder... and now he talks about "raking" the forests in order to try to save himself from the condemnation he took from forest management people throughout the country... as if he knows WTF he's talking about.

Even if they didn’t speak about that, it’s still the right thing to do, if the fruits in California would allow the people to clear under growth and fallen limbs, the wildfires wouldn’t happen.
