Finland's President denies ever talking to Trump about raking forests

Trump with another mindnumbingly stupid attempt at pretending to be smart:
“I was with the president of Finland, and he said, ‘We have a much different — we’re a forest nation.’ He called it a forest nation. And they spent a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things, and they don’t have any problem. And when it is, it’s a very small problem. So I know everybody’s looking at that to that end. And it’s going to work out, it’s going to work out well.”
But from President Niinisto, who denied to reporters that he ever discussed raking forests:
“I mentioned [to] him that Finland is a land covered by forests and we also have a good monitoring system and network,” President Niinistö said, adding that he recalled telling Trump: “We take care of our forests.”

That actually seems pretty dumb on Finlands part, from an ecological standpoint.
Pine needles, leaves, and fallen trees and limbs, provide habitat for untold species of plants and animals.
The forests have been taking care of themselves for billions of years before man came along.
