It will be purple by 2030, and fading blue by 2040

libtards are moving there to ruin it. And you had 100K liberals from New Orleans move there to destroy Houston.

Won’t happen for 6 years or so, but I’m not sure how anyone can think it’s not heading in that direction. Same For Georgia.

No matter who wins Texas in 2020, every State will eventually be blue.

Venezuela is our future.

I’m a Republican in Texas and over six decades old. The Republican Party will have to work point forward. The days of glory in the past have passed. The GOP has to bring in a new coalition and produce policy good for all. It has to be the opposite of the Democratic Socialists. But the GOP has to find new meaning And messaging to pull in the groups they need. If Texas goes it’s a goner for the national GOP brand.

There is your problem.

We can no more reform our current political system than we could reform a malignant cancer. God bless Trump, but the past four years have proven that a vote in this UniParty® charade is a vote for the left or right wing of the Deep State.

The UniParty® exists to perpetuate the Deep State. And the Deep State exists to perpetuate our nation’s print-on-demand monetary system.

Cruz is either loved or hated.

Abbott is just sort of there, just like Cornyn. Nobody really cares either way about the gov or the other senator. But Cruz, it's on/off.

I also think the dems may be decimated by this election. They have gone way too far psychotic anti-American. Obama and his ilk were not out to help working class or poor people improve their plight: which was traditionally the stated goal of old time dems. They are out for intl marxism, which was a proven failure by the late 60s. Something must be done to reign in the media, academia and social media. NPR must be defunded.

If the GOP doesn’t expand the tent they will slowly expire. I’ve been around long enough to see the messaging is little different than it was 25 years ago. Our latest heyday will be the rise of the Tea Party in 2010. The Tea Party that Obama, Joe and Lois Lerner then destroyed.

This poster is dead on with all of the info in this thread.

TX is a target state and has been for a decade now by the left. When they destroy another state, they take aim for TX next. They move there, and are now voting for the same garbage. See Austin as a prime example. Hell, the filth there now have kids convinced a college fight song is racist.

Couple that with the growing third world population that will vote right along with the left's third world policies, and the recipe is there.

Longer. The entire "Texas will turn blue" campaign is based on the assumption that Hispanics will always vote for Democrats. The Republican party has yet to truly set up a systemic effort to bring more Hispanics into the party.

This also sees both parties as they were 30 years ago and not present day.

Yeah, exactly what I wrote about a few posts up. If Cruz or any Republican doesn't up his game regarding hispanics he will lose to Beto in 2022.
We also need to bust up the communist enclaves in the universities.

Progs are like locusts. After they destroy one verdant field and leave it barren, it is on to the next.

If Texas was on the cusp of turning, every Commie in the DNC would be holding protests there.

the ones that have ruined the Friday Night Lights and made the Big 12 a no defense conference.

They can give the big 6A schools everything, but they’re losing their souls.

This is the truth. The elitist white liberal is the true enemy.

Yes, Beto brought in outside money and outspent Ted 7 to 1. Spending will swing things a lot.
