Trump legitimately made one huge mistake tonight. He should have never said the words "Joe" or "Biden". He should have only ever referred to or addressed him as "big guy"

He did miss one big opening. When Joe commented about the 50 former IC officials saying the laptop stuff was Russian disinformation, he should’ve hit back with the fact that the current DNI and FBI say it isn’t.

just finished the debate. trump killed it. he answered everything about as good as could be done. my takeaways
i cannot believe what a LIAR biden is. he lied so many times about things that have been easily confirmed. he literally said day was night so many times.
trump did a great job of inculcating that biden was an empty politician who has done nothing in 47 years, 8 in the administration, some of that with congressional majorities so absolutely no opposition. and btw, how about biden repeatedly blaming obama for things that didn't get done.
not enough talk about the laptop. it's astonishing that the moderator did not bring this up at all. as big of a political scandal as this country has EVER seen.
trump shrewdly pointed out that they are constantly worried about other nations "respecting us" but then they criticize him for having a relatively decent working relationship with noko. freaking hypocrites. they're just mad they couldn't do it.
trump was excellent on foreign affairs; paris accord, ukraine, international pollution, etc. pointing out how ineffective and disastrous big guy was on those matters
pointing out biden's hilarious lie about people not being able to put food on the table when the economy is better than it ever has been, minus the outbreak, and reminding everyone of his civil rights record as prez. the one thing i wish trump had done differently is to call out this lie more because biden is really trying to drive this nonsense home with voters
it's infuriating to listen to that moron biden LIE about the illegal kids. trump was absolutely right, they are checking to see if the kids were brought over by coyotes. any halfway clued up person knows this. they are not being brought by their parents. the cartels are kidnapping these kids and using them as mules once they get over. this has been confirmed repeatedly by actual journalists who spend time at the border
trump was great pointing out what a joke the green new deal is. almost no idiot voting for biden has looked into that p.o.s. this doesn't get talked about enough in the public arena
trump reached into the wayback machine to remind everyone of the bailout scandal biden/obama were responsible for
trump did fight back but, i wish he had pressed a bit more on biden's lie that trump is encouraging people to not be safe and red states are having spikes. uh, nyc much? they are trying to turn those people into hermits, killing the economy of the city over it and yet still seeing some of the highest numbers.
i'm sick of biden's lies about trump not treating the virus seriously enough. trump did fight back though reminding everyone that even the experts were grasping at straws. i just wish trump had reminded everyone that fauci has praised trump at times.

FWIW I timed the majority of the exchanges and Biden several times didn’t take all of his time. A few of the 2 minute exchanges he left 30 seconds on the table, and a few of his responses were well below the 30 seconds he was given. From my timing it was actually pretty fair. The moderator gave 10 seconds for a response and most of those times gave Trump 20-30 seconds before trying to move on. I was expecting this women to be obviously biased but when it came to time allotments that didn’t seem to be the case.

And the most important thing not said, by Trump, was “you can keep your doctor” and “shovel ready jobs”. Healthcare and Joe’s Green boondoggle would have went down in one sentence. Sometimes I think Trump would do better to prep with the Poliboard. Oh well.
