Which is why you're better off on your own if you care about honesty.

We get "approved" language and rhetoric. If you play the big tech game, you cannot be honest.

I would really like to hear how DW is the enemy of conservatism as many of you say.

There are a lot of people who are right wing who absolutely despise other conservatives who don't agree with them on EVERYTHING. I have a couple of guys I follow on YouTube and Twitter who hate The Daily Wire because they refused to say that the 2020 election was stolen.

Did you listen to Boering’s breakdown?

They weren’t really asking him for a lot of content. And again, were open to negotiations.

Oh, I absolutely agree that they were not asking too much. My point is that Crowder seems to enjoy being able to do as much content as he wants. I bet if you looked at the content he produces year to year there would be huge variations.

A lot of people are down on Ben because of his undying love for Israel and the word "antisemetic."

I can see why he'd chafe at this, but still seems reasonable.

That's a no-go.

That's terrible. DW should know SC's content regularly skirts that line. You want him to be his authentic self, that's the risk you have to take.

Boering wanted Crowder to be an employee of The Daily Wire while Crowder wanted to be a partner.

Essentially.

That is the problem. The most common take across DW is that the election was unfairly rigged for Biden. How folks who think it was illegally stolen and unfairly rigged can't at least see themselves as on the same side I do not know. Meanwhile the lefties present a perfectly unified front of crazy. It's a great way to lose.

Could be, not too sure. I know he did have some health issues last year and had to step away.

But hes always been under contract with someone. I find it hard to believe no one else had some sort of protections in the contract incase the amount of content dropped too low.

The DW plays the PC game too.

If you want to make money, you almost have to today.

Yea, I listened to both sides. Nothing was negotiated. They where at the starting line and the race was canceled. An offer was made and rejected. I dont understand how one complains/airs out his grievance's to the public about a contract that they were not willing to even discuss or negotiate. Just a simple thanks but no thanks would have done. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

I felt the same until I heard DW’s side. It makes sense. They have production teams already that do things for the rest of their creators.

They built in the production costs to his offer because they knew thats what he wanted. The offer also had production budgets added for the other content they were discussing such as a Stand Up or documentary.

This contract offer happened months ago and ended cordially enough. He just now decided to air it out. My instinct is the the Blaze snake bit him real good and he felt unfairly treated. Due to NDA he can’t lash out at them so the DW contract was another outlet. I think he is going to regret this and I hate it because I like Crowder a lot.

Because it's nothing more than a tool to create another bad guy/enemy (and corresponding victim status) for Crowder, for content.

I expect him to keep trying this "big Con" schtick for a while, because, even though he's been associated with some of the major names in "conservative media", he can't be "Big Con" because he's the good guy!

I got called a socialist democrat yesterday for saying that I think exchanging government paid trade school for the rest of welfare is not the worst idea.

Got called a democrat.

I replied that I haven’t voted for a democrat since Chet Edwards and Charlie Stenholm 10-20 years ago and voted for Trump.

Still just a democrat to them.

Stenholm was a good dude and ran unopposed a lot.

Edwards was ehhh but a good guy and comparable to Manchin or Cuellar today.

If I had somebody like Tulsi or Max Rose vs my current RINO rep, I could see it happening but the last two have been prog women.
