By the way she really is pretty attractive. Do you realize how horrendous she must be on a personal level that men don't want to date her?

Muzzies and Mongols say hi. And I'm pretty sure not everyone was down for pyramid building and human sacrifice in S. American civilizations.

That's an overgeneralization. You cannot know that they all are.

Oppression is actually a thing, sometimes, someplaces. Some may actually be unhappy due to oppression. Others may be unhappy due only to what they perceive as oppression. I believe both cases may exist.

But I see it on both sides. People on this board often blame the poor for their own unhappiness. This may in fact be the case sometimes, but I suspect it is more often not. It seems to usually be transferring their feelings of inadequacy onto other groups. People are people, regardless of their political beliefs, they end up using the same survival techniques.

She’s not oppressed and the women she’s talking about aren’t either. However the men she’s labeling as radical terrorist are oppressed in the setting she’s talking about

Perhaps, perhaps not.

There it is, deferral of personal responsibility for one's own circumstances. Victimhood seems to be a common deflection mechanism to shirk responsibility - for a LOT of people.

And again you’re 100% wrong. There’s no transfer of victimhood the comment was simply meant as a mirror to her stupid logic. But of course you’re defending the group with the hammer as the oppressed when in fact in her description of dating society the men she talks about are under constant scrutiny where accusation is guilt. Personally I couldn’t care less I’m a widower with small children who’ll never date again so your attempt to put yourself in my shoes fails worse than your original argument.

Some people just hate themselves. She wants to blame men the workhorse of the human race as the problem of the world. Instead she needs to look at her misdeeds and take responsibility. Then accept that you are the problem, get better and you will be happy.

I didn't read the article linked in the OP, but I did read Spratt's original article here.

The part that I questioned was when she said:
quote:

I, meanwhile, recently had to block someone who after matching with me launched into a vile rant about how women are "evil", "only want sex" and treat men as though they are "disposable". When I asked him if he hated women he replied that he had "only moderate disdain"

I would think her first question would be, "Why are you on a dating site, looking for women, if you think they're evil?"

That's what made me think her whole article was bullshite.
