Feeling Patriotic after DC visit this week

Went in early to beat the traffic, before the Amyl and the Sniffers concert (Plasmatics meets AC/DC).
Facing the UFC / Fan Appreciation Fest entrance (Wash. Monument facing the White House).

Born in raised in NOLA and found the DC weather in the summertime to somehow be worse than ours.

Exactly my impression of it as well. I did not think it could ever be more oppressive than the gulf coast. But it definitely is.
