The article said they had tried numerous attempts to gain citizenship.
How many is numerous? How many times is this, twice, 10, 100? Thats somewhere around 13,000 days, guess they were busy?

After living illegally in a country for over 35 years, I would’ve continued the pursuit until gaining citizenship.
People legally chart this path every day and become proud naturalized citizens. All of the excuse-making in this story is a bullshite excuse for not doing the right thing from the start, then hiding and turning a blind eye to reality, wishing for the best.

Why did they stop? I just don’t get it. Seems like they could have contacted someone? Maybe DOGE is getting rid of those that failed these people. Could have been DEI hires?

They had no legal basis to stay in the United States so there is nothing wrong with deporting them

If there were three appeals, then it stands to reason there were 3 requests, denials and 3 appeals.
That’s six. You can’t read or do math.

They got a free ride for 35 years. Hopefully they are banned from ever returning.

Don't you reckon there was some good reason they kept getting denied?
Especially since they spent 20 of the last 35 years here under Democratic POTUSes?

It’s impossible to obtain citizenship once someone is in the country illegally.
Absolute bullshite.
Two of my former employees are now citizens after crossing the border illegally in the 90s.
I'll have to ask them the process. I never really cared HOW they obtained citizenship. I was just proud of them for wanting to be citizens when all their family wanted to send money back to Mexico for 10-15 years before they went back.
There's a way... or there was an easier way. But, if your state or employers never required it, why bother?
Now, they're gonna bother.
