We should do our best to help an ally preserve its sovereignty. First and foremost, preservation of sovereignty entails leading allies away from unnecessary war, rather than dragging them to it.

So we should just delete the concept of borders altogether? Because border laws (are supposed to) restrict the free movement of human beings. Do away with passports? Disband the TSA?

Like cut useless government alphabet budgets to make room for that money to be spent? Money the country doesn’t have? And a commitment from Europe and Asia that THEY will fund the rebuild since the US has shouldered the bulk of the defense outlay?
