If they can leave for three months and not cause a void, maybe that job isn’t needed after all.

This was the deal for the Space Force?

Ivanka is just a much better looking Chelsea Clinton. Both are limo liberal Manhattanites.

The non management government worker can carry over from year to year 11 weeks of earned annual leave. The government isn't giving these workers leave they didn't earn, just permission to take 12 weeks off in a row, is the way I read it.
Usually workers are restricted to two weeks at a time.

I’m I a retired Federal LEO and this is outrageous. How dare they give these overpaid, entitled workers more perks than the private sector. This is flat out wrong.

As it already is, every newly hired young woman spends the first two or three years of their careers pregnant and on lite duty. Most never do their jobs until about five years in. It’s ridiculous. Now, everybody will abuse the system.

Thats even worse.
Can you think of any private sector job where you work for 1 year and get 11 weeks paid leave?
Am I understanding you correctly..work for 1 year and then take 2 weeks off every month for 5 months and then 1 week the next month??

This is a good law. 12 weeks for both parents after the baby is a win for families. Law already allows new moms to take off 12 weeks, but the last four are unpaid.

This is just the beginning. It will be mandated nation wide to all private employers soon.

That's fine. Just don't complain when your wages stagnate and cost of goods go up.

Many new moms were already taking 12 weeks. Now, some of the poorer ones can. And now dads have the same choice. Good law.

Not 11 weeks after one year.
Years 1 to 5 get you 2 and a half weeks a year of leave, years 6 to 15 get you almost 4 weeks vacation a year, and 16 and up get you a little over 5 weeks. You can use it, or save it. You are allowed to amass 11 weeks to carry over to next year. It would take a new employee over 4 years to earn the max carry over if one never took a day off.
