I believe all kids need an education whatever supports might be required. Now, I don't believe ALL schools need accommodate ALL variety of students. But, are kids being shafted?
And I know you have policy thoughts- what are your thoughts on how to accommodate IEP children and still have particular spaces for the gifted set? And also not skew the middle of the road population, of course.

And exclusion. But the state really got lucky with the situation after Katrina. The population changes and enrollment funny business implemented by charter schools resulted in test scores that painted a very rosy picture of how successful charter schools are compared to pre-Katrina public schools (which, admittedly, left a lot to be desired)

My personal viewpoint on public education makes this a non-issue for me, but I do care about public money being funneled into private board member's pockets and other examples of waste and fraud.
Goes to show—again—that MAGA's outrage is highly selective.
