The sad part is we (general public) just kinda laid down and didn't think they could ever pull all this off. We set our selves up for this epic mess by not standing up earlier to it. None of us felt like we needed to rock the boat bc it would soon die off and we would be ok. Sadly we were mistaken as a whole. Now I'm pissed with any change they have and vocal.

How was it determined that "squaw" is offensive? Who has been offended by it? Where? When?

One mountain that I would be totally on board with changing is Mt. Rainier. It's named after a British admiral who never even stepped foot into this country and was our eventual enemy. Rename that one Mt. Tahoma or Mt. Tacoma.

Upcoming: renaming every place, city,county/parish, state...named after a slave holder or any person or event with a "problematic" history.
