Patty Morin's daughter getting killed has nothing to do with Abrego Garcia's case. It was just political grandstanding.

FCC has no authority over cable, correct?

Does CC own OTA stations?

They had to remind everyone why we couldn't just go through normal procedures here and why they need special authority. Honestly it's pretty shameful to use a mother's grief like that so blatantly but it's Washington politics so par for the course.

Wrong,

LINK

The Supreme Court affirmed the Commission's jurisdiction over cable in United States v. Southwestern Cable Co., 392 U.S. 157 (1968). The Court ruled that "the Commission has reasonably concluded that regulatory authority over CATV is imperative if it is to perform with appropriate effectiveness certain of its responsibilities." The Court found the Commission needed authority over cable systems to assure the preservation of local broadcast service and to effect an equitable distribution of broadcast services among the various regions of the country.

Comcast knows that federal law requires its licensed operations to serve the public interest. News distortion doesn’t cut it.

I always laugh about the "net neutrality" argument.

Always remember the JP Morgan adage: There is the good reason and the real reason.

The good reason: The little guy wont be pushed off the net due to the cost of the carrier. The real reason, Netflix with huge bandwidth, pays a pittance to hog up all that bandwidth.

And suddenly, when the obamas live office they set up Higher Productions and do series on.......Netflix. Well now aint that convenient.

It has everything to do with it, it’s why he was deported…we’ve had enough, that story is why I want illegal criminals removed.

It’s directly related.

The story sponsored a law that helps deport these illegals like him…the fact it shows how terrible democrat politicians are, their selfish priorities and THEIR hack fraud grandstanding is just ironic.
