Think about it, there was a time probably not more than 6 years ago that they probably got a lot of cooperation from at least 50% of the population. Now no one and I mean no one likes or trust them.

ACTUALLY these are rank and file officers. These are the good guys!

Yeah, just like the rank and file in the SS and the Gestapo. Of course, they’re just following orders.

Community notes just found out who one of the agents in the video. They just ask @FBI why an agent is showing up to someone house and asking them about protected speech.

Also, did Covid turn the FBI into “dress like a soy dad at a BBQ” dress code?

Since when does the FBI not have a dress code? They used to dress more uniform and it was common to show ID and badge when on official business

All that would require a little professionalism.

You saw these clowns. It’s pretty clearly amateur hour at FBI HQ. They’re reduced to hiring what they can get.

Apart from the serious constitutional concerns, it’s completely unprofessional and wrong for plain clothes cops to not present credentials when asked to. Also the citizen is a little low on their salaries, it’s way over 100k.

We have an agent whose kid goes to our school. He dresses like those two every time I see him. He is a nice guy and I appreciate he is armed during chapel.

Wtf does "soy dad at a BBQ" mean? I see two guys wearing normal clothes. They might be oddly dressed for the FBI. But if i see two regular dudes looking like that i would just think they are normal people. What am i missing? Are they wearing birkenstocks or sonething?

They were unwilling to show ID I would have called 911 on them and stated I felt I was endangered by people impersonating law enforcement.

Make it real exciting and mention that they are armed.

I think the point is if a cop asks for your id you risk arrest if you dont provide it. Yet they dont have to show it.
