That's why a secret police will never be introduced. Because the FBI already fills that role.
FBI,DOJ and pretty much every other government agency have instituted special rules that are only applied to nonleftist protests. If nonleftists peacefully protest...but a few people start rioting, then everyone at that protest is labeled a terrorist. FBI will go all over the country and hunt down everyone who protested. It's meant to stop nonleftists from protesting.
It's even more draconian if the FBI themselves instigate riots and then use those riots as a reason to round up protesters.
