IF that is true I am confident they have nothing to fear.
And it could be - but first you collect all the 'possible' seditionists and then weigh their actual actions for further consideration.
Same way you look at all traffic light videos for a white Ford if it is known that a white For was the getaway car for a murder.

Poor babies have to live like the rest of us who get fired or laid off in private sector.
Since when are FBI 'jobs' an entitlement?

To be fair, even if they were totally on the up and up, that agency needs slashing in half, at a minimum.
This is what gets me. The Private sector always has the threat of layoffs and organizational restructuring.
Public orgs like the FBI should not be immune to that. Organizations grow inefficient sometimes. Take your licks, learn to be efficient and non-political, and move on.
I highly suggest that the FBI's headquarters move out of Hoover and into a fantastic new office building in downtown Memphis or St. Louis - where it's far cheaper to live. DC can be a large field office.

So the shoe is on the other foot. The FBI way overcharged people for J6. Many were completely non-violent and entered the capitol through doors HELD OPEN by capitol police. They just walked around and didnt damage anything. And for that some of them were sentenced to years and years in prison.
Yes they deserved some punishment but the sentences were far too severe for their crime. You can assault someone in DC and put them in the hospital for a month and get a lesser sentence.
The FBI and the courts did it to remind "the people" how powerful they are. So hopefully we wouldn't do it again.
If another "insurrection" occurs I believe many of the "insurrectionists" (patriots) will come armed the next time.

"I've talked to more FBI people in the last 4 days than I did in the prior 4 years."
"It is a place in utter disarray right now. People are worried about how am I going to pay the bills? How am I gonna support my family?"
"If you get fired, you're done. That's the end of your reputation, your ability to get any job, you lose your pay, you lose your chance at a pension, you lose your health insurance."
