Their egos wont allow it, they all have it they're smart but stupid.

I'm surprised they outed themselves like that rather than just compromise the investigation by performing at DEI levels.
And that is exactly what the majority are doing, same with DOJ. Remember the chick in charge of the Florida conspiracy case who was let go recently, just dragging her feet, doing just enough to get nothing accomplished without technically violating policy.

Exactly, and to those who say "fire them all" who are these 90%, ya think they wear a scarlet letter, only a few are as dumb as the two who were just fired.
And the FBI does have work to do and someone has to do it. You fire them all and the 10% left will say, where is my paycheck....oh we fired the payroll people. Where is my expense check...oh we fired those people. Why isnt my vehicle fixed...oh we fired that person. What about my travel arrangements...oh we fired that person.

This is what happens when you don’t follow orders at work, you get fired.
I can disagree all day long with the plan our vp of tax has, but if I don’t go execute it I’d be fired.
A good lesson for these two, you speak up and say you disagree and why and then you do your job otherwise you get fired.

This is good. I wonder how many analysts/agents feel the same but keep quiet and attempt to hinder the investigation.

In my career, I would have expected to be let go for refusing to do assigned work.

I think everyone has underestimated how deeply dug in the establishment govt is in the FBI and other agencies.
If it was an "establishment government" instead of just a couple of personally woke agents, how would Patel be able to remove them so easily?
Again, either the "Deep State" is not really an organized body, or it's a relatively weak one.
Which is it?

The same way any seedy organized group infiltrates and influences.
Its called soft power.
You bribe the people with money or exposure of their past transgressions to have them participate, they get caught and removed, no big deal. Theres thousands more they have doing the same.

Is there any evidence that anyone who has supposedly been a part of any "Deep State soft power" play has taken bribes or been blackmailed?
Or are we doing the thing where we know the conspiracy is true because there's no evidence of it (because obviously "they" covered it all up)?
Even if true, that doesn't require any vast organized body. It requires maybe a hundred thousand dollars to hire private investigators to find blackmail-able vulnerabilities and/or make bribes.
One completely non-"establishment" individual could do it.
Not to mention, if these two agents were compromised operatives, what sense would it make for them to remove themselves from the operation by refusing to investigate? When they do that they can be of no use to the "Deep State."
Why wouldn't they say nothing, report secretly to their handlers, and try to sabotage the investigation rather than removing themselves from it altogether? Again, they refused to investigate. They resigned, they didn't get kicked out.

It's called the blob.
Its groups of people with interests that may differ.
Not one top down hierarchy.
Wild claim here.
Very head in the sand type statement.

It wasn't a claim, it was a question. Which you didn't answer. (Not surprisingly.)

I can buy that.
But a few things about that:
1. That still doesn't explain this case. What interests are served by having these agents remove themselves from this investigation if they are someone's compromised operatives?
Objectively, Trump/Patel are the beneficiaries of that move, not anyone who opposes them, for the reasons already given. So does that mean that Patel has the hard drive evidence that these two watch kiddie porn or took bribes? Are they his operatives?
2. It also means that there is no "Deep State" as is discussed on these boards. No organized powerful shadow government unified against Trump (but unable to keep him from being elected twice). There's just shady individuals and a variety of small groups trying to influence government. Garden variety corruption and dirty tricks. Which brings me to...
3. If that's what we're talking about, there's nothing new about it. That's the way government has always worked. It's why conservatives want smaller government. Because as long as government exists there will be dirty tricks, backroom deals, good ole boy networks, etc. And despite all of that, we've created the most comfortable, most equitable, fairest, most prosperous for the most people society with the least racism, the most opportunity, the greatest protections of rights and the most redress against government tyranny in the history of the world, and it's not close.
So sure, we should be on the lookout for corruption...should root it out wherever we can, in fact, but it's hardly the end of days that populists make it out to be (want it to be, actually).

Since your so objective, learn about the National Endowment for Democracy.
Which, is a large chunk of the blob/deep state etc.
Its a bunch of groups funded by both parties, under the NED is the IRI (republican side), and NDI (democrat side). These are the primary 501C3 parents for the NGO's that have been funded by USAID to do the CIA's work as a part of plausible deniability because the carter foundation caught the CIA's hand in the cookie jar so to speak. Regan admin organized this. Since then all of these "foundations" do the work on the CIA's behalf, which is controlled by permanent washingtion's brass (clintons, obamas, bush's, biden's, pelosi's et al), who in turn are controlled by the corporate/global elite (george and alex schwartz/bill gates/clinton foundation to name a few), their agendas and reach is so deep that getting people to do their bidding via bribes is very easy. They know a lot of people who know a lot of people. Its called corruption, the United States being the most powerful country on earth ever, the reach is far, hence deep corruption.
So back to your question:
quote:
so does that mean that Patel has the hard drive evidence that these two watch kiddie porn or took bribes? Are they his operatives?
What are you trying to do with this question?
I have no idea what patel has, if youre trying to ask if trump/patel are contribuiting to the deep state then i'd say theyre trying to weed out the deep state and eventually over time if they were to rule for long enough and make killer power move then yes they would be a part of the deep state.

Yes, its pretty obvious there is some unity on the left and some of the right against DJT. He's had two assassination attempts that we know of, been arrested and convicted of felonies in some ridiculous manners, much less the ones that were dropped. But, the blob is handcuffed to a degree. What youre alluding is that the deep state has absolute power, they dont.

Nobody said this was new.
You are the one saying a deep state doesnt exist.
Its just merely corruption on an isolated scale.
When someone like trump gets into power, you see that isnt the case.
Next time look objectivley and read.
Dont just claim "theres no deep state".

Good. People who refuse to do their job should be fired.
There is tons of evidence of fraud there.
