No way to know if its real or staged.
Given the high demand for these types of stories to push a specific narrative, there are significant odds that someone is filling the demand artificially.
I wish i could say that I was sure the woke mind virus has not infected parts of the FBI, but that trust was lost in the last 20 years.

Scratch that, I believe it was stolen. So they had a real one they stole. Probably from the museum on base. Not sure why else there would be a german machine gun just laying around.
