Every treatment that was effective and minimized symptoms, kept people out of hospitals and off respirators, Fauci was against and accepted and promoted the censorship of dissenting medical opinions. I remember when Fauci was testifying to Congress and adamantly recommending strict social distancing for all manner of events. He was quite clear about it.
When asked if that applied to protests that were raging he quickly deferred.

Yeah. He played a major part in the AIDS epidemic, has an insanely large amount of publications, and is one of the editors for the Internal Medicine textbook nearly everyone in medical schools uses. I beleive his editorship oversaw numerous additions to Harrison's too. His publication record is almost too copious to believe.

I'm not disputing his credentials or his authorship and recall hearing that he played a major role in AIDS research.
My criticism comes from his role in this BS and what appears to him loving the spot light in this moment as opposed to his lack of doing so during previous periods.
And of course his indecisiveness regarding masks.
