so 68000/4= 17,000 a season. How long do you want to consider "flue season"

General November - March? So six months?

They already have over 9000 deaths in a month and a half. and it isn't getting better.

From a statistical point of view this is clearly worse.

Form an anecdotal point of view, you know this doesn't happen in Italy every year.

It has been closer to 3 months (if not more)

And Lombardy (where the Italian outbreak first occurred) has 50,000 documented Chinese workers (many more undocumented visitors) in sweatshop garment factories. And worker/family/visitors who have a high incidence of travel between China and Italy.

Why does that matter if this is just the flu?

Did that happen suddenly in 2020?

And more than half the 8,200 COVID deaths (as of 3/26/20) are from Lombardy. The 2 adjoining Northern regions account for most of the remainder.

You’re making MY point.

Do you think the normal seasonal flu killed 8K in a month and a half in Lombardi last year?

The flu is a serious and deadly worldwide health issue. But it does NOT require shutting down nations.

Tedros and the MSM (with help from Fauci) set off a massive hysteria of epic proportions with their absurd doomsday models.

You trust this guy, Fauci? Great. I don't.

1. You misunderstood my question. If this is a normal flu, or is just as bad as the normal flu, why do Lombardy's Chinese connections matter?

2. This clearly isn'y just the flu. You can say that all you want, but if you look at the places where this got really but you are death death numbers and serious cases that are not comparable to the flu over the same period of time.

There are flu hotspots just like there are COVID hotspots.

You can't take data from a hotspot (Wuhan, Lombardy, Washington state elder care center, NYC, NOLA) and extrapolate THAT as the norm for the rest of the world. That is statistically silly.

Not to this extent.

What percentage of the deaths in Lombardy were Chinese workers/visitors or had close proximity to this group?

Again, what does it matter if this is the normal flu?

Shouldn't it still only be killing people at normal flu rates?

Thats not what we are seeing there.

Guess whose donation is in the top 0.2% of Clinton Foundation donors?

DONALD J. TRUMP

Go figure.

100K... and fully disclosed by the Trump Foundation at the time.

One Big Pharma donation to the CDC Foundation was $400,000,000 - 100K is less than 1/100th of one percent of 400 million. And that $400 million dollar 'donation' had to be refused when the press revealed that it was for an addition study - but tailored by the donor - Big Pharma.

CDC Foundation has serious donor problems - particularly in regard to disclosure and undue influence from donors.

Said this the first time Trump trotted him out on the stage. He started the armageddon projections. Don't know if Trump knew all what he was going to say or not ? That let the horse out of the barn and the pig pile was on w/ the media and authoritarian mayors/governors.
The dude is a career government worker. Doesn't matter that his predictions aren't any better than the local weather guys, the damage was done.

Well, the Clintons and Trump were also friends, so I don’t know how much you can read into this.
