Why do illegals get special treatment? If an American citizen committed a crime, they go to jail and are separated from their kids too. The only way for Trump to properly resolve this issue with kids at the border is to appoint more immigration judges to expedite hearings to minimize the amount of time the kids are separated from their parents. Then they can either have their asylum granted if they have a valid asylum case, or be swiftly deported if not.
