My wife is not a very political person.

Keep it simple stupid.

Show her how much of her income she kept before and after Trump. She will be hammering a Trump 2020 sign in your yard in no time!

My wife ... was upset because she heard on the radio he was going to be impeached, and she was wondering who would take over once he removed.
Here in Texas, impeachment was certainly covered in our mandatory civics class.

Where was your wife raised, and does her state not require a credit in civics in order to obtain a high school diploma?

I am not criticizing your wife, but rather the educational system. How could anyone bright enough to become a physician possibly graduate without having learned the basics of American government?

Watching Rudy on OAN right now; Rudy has the goods on Joe Biden. If Joe wasn't running for POTUS...he'd be headed to jail. Along with a lot of the Dem Party...Top to bottom.

We are in a "emperor has no clothes" scenario. Your wife is exemplary of the power of propaganda, when the sources of information are those we (formerly) trust.

I have lifelong and dear friends who are in the same boat. I seriously doubt that their egos will allow them to ever believe what will soon become obvious. Such being that everything the Dems have accused Trump of...they have done IRL. It'll be Human Ego that is the basis for Fermi Paradox Theory. That we are our own worst enemy.

Lets hope and pray for that we can finesse this stuff and dodge political meltdown. I think Trump should consider turning off the Grid for a few days...just to let everybody know what is in store if it goes to the street. "The FEAR of the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge"; "knowledge" (IMO) being Truth. Truth being realistic assessment.

I HOPE that it’s just a worn out shtick and that’s not who he really is socially. If so, I bet rooms get quiet when he walks into them.

What sort of God damned idiot would say that reading this board is the problem when the entire fricking media that most people watch is actually demonstrably corrupt? How many fricking people do you think get ALL their news from here? That is as idiotic as the term "Fox viewers".

Most of the world would say people on this board are crazy. For example, the ot, which is very conservative, makes fun of this board.

Irrelevant, IRL...as such relates to what is true or false. What is not irrelevant is whether or not what is true and good Ideas and Policy, is adopted by whatever Governmental power that ultimately holds sway, and shapes future Culture.

It all comes down to God-given INDIVIDUAL Rights, vs the imposed authority of the Majority. The Founders abhorred and feared Democracy...I.e., "most of the World".

Regardless, it's like Einstein said..."if we break the rules of Nature or God..." we pay. Live and learn. I'm good with that.

Biden got a guy fired who happened to be investigating his son's company. We should look into that.
But when Trump suggests it, it is an impeachable offense.

I had to explain the same thing to my wife as well. She has a master's in English and paralegal.

She was taught it, she forgot.

As a society we do not place any importance on civics. They want to keep us dumb.
