If all you have time for is maybe the national news a few times a week or a few websites that you probably never bother to actually open articles and read it, then you have no chance of being informed.

It really is eye opening to discuss politics with someone who does not really follow along.
I had a conversation with a friend's 24 year old son and he said crap like, ICE needs to be abolished because what they are doing to those kids at the border is not right.
I had a few beers with his dad and told him he needed to get a handle on that.

I studied and art and practice of propaganda and indoctrination as part of my professional career. If this stuff were not extremely effective and decisive in the realm of human affairs, we wouldn't bother to spend tax money to train people like me in how to do things in this arena.
