WSJ: Despite US sanctions, china continues to supply drone components to Iran and russia.
LINK
Chinese companies openly export dual-use drone components, including motors, batteries, fiber optic cables, and chips, to Iran and Russia, often in defiance of US sanctions.
One company, Xiamen Victory Technology, even sold German-designed L550 drone engines associated with Iran's Shahed-136 attack drones during recent regional hostilities.
US officials say stopping this trade is difficult because the drones use standard commercial parts that move easily through global supply chains. Many Chinese suppliers are small firms, less vulnerable to US sanctions, and increasingly operating openly.

China: ~41%
Russia: ~22%
Iran: ~11%
Turkey: ~2%

russia founded "new" international alliance of communist parties – the SOVINTERN
The new SOVINTERN – For Socialism in the 21st Century International Socialist Network, opposes “Donald Trump’s imperialism” and the “NATO war against Russia”. It considers that Western social democracy as gathered in the Socialist International serves American militarism. The ideology of the SOVINTERN ranges from social patriotism, Social conservatism, Stalinism and left-wing nationalism, along with being supportive of Russia.
The new SOVINTERN was founded by 10 communist organizations, but plans soon to group together more than 100 parties from all over the planet.
The founding parties were:
American Communist Party
Authentic Socialist Party (Argentina.)
Communist Party of Argentina
Communist Party Marxist – Kenya
Union of Democratic Socialists, (Congo)
Party of Progress and Socialism (Morocco)
Party of Socialists of the Republic (Moldova)
Sandinista National Liberation Front (Nicaragua)
Movement of Socialists (Serbia)
Tunisia Forward
Workers Party of Britain
The American Communist Party (not to be confused with the not quite as openly pro-russia communist party USA) was represented by several party leaders including Chris Helali, Carlos Garrido, Eddie “Liger” Smith, Haz Al-Din, Kyle Pettis and Jackson Hinkle.

A large spy network has been uncovered in France.
According to intelligence agencies, Russia created it to steal military and technological secrets.
The network operated under the control of Russian intelligence services and was involved in hacking government accounts, stealing data, and carrying out subversive activities. French intelligence determined that the Russians were particularly interested in laser and semiconductor technologies.
Details of the operation are contained in a classified report titled "Russian Threats and Activities against France," prepared by the Directorate-General for Internal Security (DGSI) and the Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE). The 16-page document describes the activities of Russian intelligence agencies and President Vladimir Putin personally. According to the investigation, Moscow is conducting at least 13 special operations against France.
The report states that spies at the Polytechnic Institute collected information about high-power laser technology and infiltrated other scientific centers. In one case, Russian agents stole the computer of a defense engineer right at the airport, having previously accessed its contents. French intelligence agencies have noted the excessive gullibility of some officials and urged them to use "clean" phones and laptops when traveling abroad.
According to the report, Russian agents are attempting to approach ministry employees anywhere, from their offices to bars, even resorting to using women to recruit political figures. Russia is also known to have hacked the email accounts of French Defense Ministry employees and, as early as 2014, organized an illegal scheme to purchase microchips from the company Ommic.
French authorities suspect that Russia may be plotting acts of sabotage in the energy sector. Experts believe Russian agents are capable of infiltrating and disabling critical infrastructure facilities. The report also alludes to Russia's possible involvement in planning terrorist attacks at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The document also mentions past incidents. In 2023, hackers attacked the email accounts of employees of the defense company KNDS France, which produces Caesar self-propelled artillery systems for Ukraine. In 2021, the systems of the Dax hospital were hacked and never recovered. And on the day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine—February 24, 2022—a cyberattack damaged 40,000 Viasat satellite modems in France.
The report places special emphasis on Moscow's ties with Iran, which is developing its own ballistic missiles. Intelligence agencies also do not rule out a nuclear threat from Russia, particularly emphasizing the risk of using the Oreshnik missile, which has a range of 3,000 to 5,000 kilometers—enough to reach French territory.
Furthermore, according to intelligence data, Russia has launched a dissemination campaign in the country to disseminate fake news in support of Hamas and is waging an information attack against French President Emmanuel Macron, organizing a network of trolls attempting to undermine support for the head of state.
As the authors of the article noted, Russia is attacking France on all fronts—in the air, in space, underwater, at strategic points, and in cyberspace. They say the examples of such actions are accumulating and confirm one thing: wherever the opportunity arises, Putin's men take action.

Once again, a long tunnel has been discovered on the border with Belarus, this time in Lithuania.
18 migrants to Lithuania crawled through a cave dug from Belarus.
Cable border guards arrested 18 illegal migrants who crawled into Lithuania near the Varena district through a cave dug from the Belarusian side. All these men, who identified themselves as Afghan and Sri Lankan citizens, were later turned back to Belarus by VSAT officials. Cable border guards also detained two Ukrainian citizens who allegedly came to pick up 7 immigrants who entered Lithuania illegally.
Illegal migrants were recorded by the officials of the Cable Border Firewall of the VSAT Varena border team at night from Tuesday to Wednesday in the Varena district via a video surveillance system. In defense of illegal migration, a physical barrier – fence and a concertina pyramid are also built here on the Lithuanian side of the border line.
At night, these 18 newcomers climbed into Lithuania through a cave dug from the Belarusian side. Immediately, the closest patrols of the Cable Border Guards arrived at this place, including canine experts with dogs. VSAT forces intercepted 18 intruders emerging from the cave and running into the forest. Full article here

Russia has offered to provide Iran with unjammable fiber-optic drones, immune to electronic warfare, and training on how to use them against American troops in the Gulf and perhaps elsewhere.
As The Economist reports, Putin personally offered to train Tehran to use such drones against American soldiers. The secret plan called for the delivery of 5,000 short-range drones, as well as an unspecified number of longer-range satellite-guided systems. According to a 10-page GRU draft, the plan was developed in the first weeks of the war, when the possibility of a US ground invasion of Iran was being considered. The document contained diagrams and a map of islands off the coast of Iran, including the important Kharg oil terminal, which the US military planned to seize. One diagram illustrates how Russian-trained operators could launch swarms of five to six drones from hidden positions to attack American landing ships. The GRU offered to recruit operators from among the approximately 10,000 Iranian students studying at Russian universities, as well as from Tajiks and Syrian Alawites loyal to the ousted regime of Bashar al-Assad. In late March, Western intelligence agencies reported that Russia was preparing to send Iran upgraded versions of its own Shahed drones, better suited to evading air defenses. A Western intelligence official, speaking to CNN, claimed that Russia was already training Iran in drone tactics developed in Ukraine: launching "waves" of multiple drones that constantly change course, allowing them to evade air defense systems. The Washington Post previously reported that Russia was sharing targeting intelligence with Iran.

russia exploits right-wing organizations and polarizes societies
On January 3, 2025, Aleksandr Dugin posted on X: "If we don't kill them they kill us. Everywhere - US, UK, Europe, Ukraine and elsewhere. Let finish them first." LINK

Dugin's ideas have influenced the MAGA communism movement, which combines elements of nationalism and anti-globalism, promoting a multipolar world that supports russia, iran, and china against the United States. This movement, represented by figures like Haz Al-Din and Jackson Hinkle, draws on Dugin's anti-American sentiments and his vision of a new political order.
