Why I'm wondered in an earlier comment on them being tried in a NYC federal court. Especially with their mayor. A solid legit jury may be hard to find, and security will be tough with the local leadership countering the feds.
Unless Trump is using it as a set up to see if they will interfere. Which is always possible.
