Not responsible enough to drink or smoke for another 9 years, their parents are liable for truancy at school for another 6 years, but they are definitely responsible enough to make permanent body altering decisions without the parents knowledge.

This is 100% illegal.
Reminds me of the controversy with Ginsburg. She authored a document, via contract with the government, when at Columbia. It recommended changing language in a statute, not only to gender neutral language, but went on to change age from 16 to 12 with regard to consent - prompting people to accuse her of wanting the age of consent changed to 12 from 16.
I've never found anything where she denies that was her intent, though that may be the case.
It's just odd that there is this trend on the left where there appears to be a desire to introduce children to sex, but no strong statements declaring they want to keep children away from such material.
By not making such declarations, they leave people with no other choice but to believe they want to introduce children to sex and sexual topics. Then they get angry when people make this connection.

While I disagree wholeheartedly with this count and people like her. This is misleading.
She said they have a right to see a counselor at age 13 without parents convent. Not cut their dick off.
But there is nothing anyone should be allowed to keep from parents under the age of 18, unless the parents agree to it.

What is being discussed is whether parents should receive legal notification if their kid gets counseling.
