In the world, not of it.

Don't let them change who you are.

The same cannot be said of your posts.

You do realize that this is literally why Leftists say they do what they do, right?

Hank has a bias, I think one of his kids is trans or gay. Its his blind spot.

I have a bias too, after watching the gay community totally destroy the youth in my town. 100% of the social pressure is for them to accept it.

I loathe these people, but laws aren't going to stop them.

Other than judicial appointments, which any GOP president would have made, Trump was largely ineffective.
Exactly.

When was the last time that a GOP president picked a judicial nominee who was not already on the list provided to him by Heritage and the Federalists?

Anyone who thinks Trump had any idea, on his own, who to appoint to the USSC is legit stupid

Mitch McConnell, the guy everyone hates, made it possible for Trump to make those picks AND was highly influential in telling him who to pick. Those lists were made by the literal establishment GOP infrastructure, the very antithesis of contemporary Trumpkin support.

If there's anything at all redeeming in this, it's that "easterners" have shown a propensity for western culture.

Wherever in the West they go they absorb it like a sponge.

Distinguishing themselves in so many disciplines - especially in western classical music, most notably in the stringed instruments, particularly the classical guitar - a personal favorite.

They appear not to view the culture in adversarial terms.

Possibly part of why they're hated among some of the native born.

Very little about Trump's politics/policies seem to reflect his actual, personal beliefs/actions. He does lots of things because we're in a democracy and he needs people to vote for him.

Sounds like Bill Clinton, and he's considered to be a gifted politician.

Depends upon what you mean by "agree."

I would not choose to take my child to attend one, but I see them as harmless, and I see a Constitutional problem with excluding them from the use of public facilities.

I have simply argued that they constitute "desensitization" rather than "grooming," which are distinct activities.

Is that "agreement?"

I agree it shouldn’t be required. But your arguments (while completely valid most often) kinda are on the same side as the people that are often.

When you don’t show yourself an ally on easily defendable points, you’re not going to be well received.

You be you, you’re a smart lawyer type. I’m just saying there’s more push back against reasonable arguments because you’re silent on things “we all agree with.”

I've got gay cousins, both female and they kick arse.

The problem is when gay people think they're part of this mythical "community" which leads to groupthink.

Gay people are the most unoppressed demographic in the country, outside of Jews.

I don’t know how this thread devolved into Trump/anti Trump discussions of ideological purity, but I’m not surprised it did

The point of the OP is to illustrate that either the “conservatives” come to terms with the realities of our political climate that will never return to the tempered discussions and compromise that never truly existed anyway and change their tactics, or we have lost for good.
