Who cares what his true, core beliefs are. The man actually got a few things done for once. You think milqetoast Romney with his perfectly ironed slacks would have got Roe overturned? If Im going into a knife fight, give me the barroom brawler with the ketchup stained shirt and glock tucked in his belt (just in case) over the buttoned up pussy boy.

You know when shite gets real and actual fighting start, SFP will immediately become the bitch of the biggest guy near him. That’s how people like him survive.

I’m saying yours and SFP’s arguments never seem to be heard on “things we all agree on.”

Because, as I stated earlier, there are presuppositions.

Nobody in this thread agrees with "drag queen story hour" at libraries for children. Why does every post require this to be stated, to display ideological purity (or avoid confusion for low-IQ types)?

But silence on those and nuanced arguments elsewhere that tend to go against conservative (however that may be defined on this board) doesn’t give the impression of nuance.

Um, why?

What other points of ideological purity are required in any post critiquing this side? I need a bullet point list so I can make a copy/paste for future threads.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you, but they don’t understand anything other than confrontation. At some point we must take the fight to them in a way they’re familiar with.

That actually may not end up being good for the Right, if it swings the 2022 elections. The GOP was looking to have a landslide until that decision. Hopefully it wasn't enough to deter the red wave in a few weeks.

If Hobbs loses the midterms, it's one of the worst things to ever happen to the Right because the next few years will be ALL gas and NO brakes for Leftism.

Other than judicial appointments, which any GOP president would have made, Trump was largely ineffective. Many of the policies he did implement have been reversed. He couldn't get the ACA repealed, either. And he was the biggest spending President in history, causing massive inflation today.

Actually we don’t. There will be no hysterics, the anger will have past. It will be absolute resolve by people that know how to accomplish their goals. All we wanted was to be left alone. Hopefully things will change before we go down a road we can never come back from.

I don’t think it’s some secret that boomer GOP policies of governance have been a failure and are directly tied to the extreme shift left

Very little about Trump's politics/policies seem to reflect his actual, personal beliefs/actions. He does lots of things because we're in a democracy and he needs people to vote for him.

Ahhhh, you are getting it, and you don't realize it. The benefit to Trump, is he wanted to please his base. Honestly, it could have just been for his own narcissistic reasons, but he would at least go to bat and try to get wins for his base (not always successful, but tried).

Whereas if I look at someone like Mitch McConnell, he despises his base. He goes to bat for the chamber of commerce, China, and the deep state. He may be a good or decent guy personally, who knows. It doesn't really matter.

I could literally not care any less about a politicians personal, core beliefs or how they behave in their personal life. I just want to know how their policies and votes will be affecting the life of my family and my community. If we can use persuasion to get a certain politician to our side (maybe even for their own selfish reasons), that's good enough for me.

People have these stupid romantic visions of these politicans being decent, upstanding people. They think of Mr. Smith goes to Washington. Truthfully they are all probably mostly scum, and it's more like House of Cards. So it's a waste trying to find the one that has the right personality, just get the one who will help pass the right agenda. That is the key.

It scared the hell out of me tbh. Am surprised the R v Wade has not been as big of a deal as I thought it would be. My heart fell when the Supremes just happened to make this case just before elections.

Well this isn't a potential NPC strawman or anything

Your word soup was a "globalism" and "groomer" away from a right-NPC Yahtzee

There is, and will be.

Separation is the solution. Focusing on your community is a solution. DC is the most corrupt place on the planet, its beyond redemption.

Let them have it.

Though I don’t advocate for any violent means, the reason a person does something is important.
If a person shoots another person to steal from him, it’s different than if he shoot’s someone who is attacking his family.
