Neither do I but our ignorance of something that doesn't appeal to us doesn't make the statement a falsehood, not insinuating you did.

This is the age demo that Trump is not as strong in.

You'd be wrong......you think Trump was elected by old white guys?

Is the old white guy age bracket Trump's strongest point? Sure

What is Trumps approval rating with millennials vs total pop?

The dims and msm are evil and screwed up to indescribable amounts, and are hypocrites for labeling Kanye as mentally ill, but there really is something wrong with him. This will prob blow up on both sides, thus being moot.

Has the right blown up about this? Seems to me like it’s the left that’s imploding.

It's quite the opposite. Kanye support of Trump has hurt his support in the AA community. More people in AA community are turning on Kanye than changing their opinion of Trump.

The only opinions that are changing is the opinions of conservatives toward Kanye. IMO you're overestimating the "Kanye Effect".

I thought it was a money grab or troll at first. After going back and watch all of his interviews, I believe he is sincere. He has zero filters and treats life like a giant brainstorm. Does he say stupid shite? Absolutely. Anyone that has been part of a brainstorming session does. At least the ones that proactively contribute.

If they're only changing their opinion on Kanye, they weren't supporting Trump to begin with, how exactly is that hurting Trump?

While I don’t have any stats to refute your claim, I will say that a conversation I had with a friend spawned my post. He is questioning his never trump mentality and the Democratic Party in general. He still doesn’t care for trump, but is seriously doing a political self-evaluation. We started on Ray J and ended on Woodrow Wilson.

I agree with you totally on this point. This is what Malcolm Gladwell called the Tipping Point.

I'm white and calling him a house n**#o and laughing about him and mocking him based solely on how a black person "should" behave made me exceptionally uncomfortable. I cannot imagine how I would feel if I were a black person. Kanye West isn't a political leader, but he is a cultural one.

His actions don't change all the hearts and minds of the 95 percent of black people who are currently Democrat voters but I do believe it is a tipping point and a sign of a trend. Particularly by black men who are historically maligned if not marginalized by the Democrat Party will not like seeing another man mocked for sharing his point of view.

I'm not implying it's hurting Trump, its hurting Kanye with the AA community. I don't think this has any effect on Trump.

People that liked Trump before still do. People that disliked him before, now dislike Kanye.

So let me get this straight. You praise Kanye so much for being a GOP no wait ... Trump supporter (lets no confuse the two). However, you continuously bash his wife. Thereby praising and disrespecting the man at the same time.

Personally, I believe Kanye is just playing the GOP base. Being Black and conservative is the new counterculture. It is trendy now and it can bring in revenue. Candace and Kanye are only the beginning, but as with all populist movements, it will fade once the money runs dry.

But suppose I'm wrong and he truly believes in conservatism. I wish him success in creating a new avenue for people to reform their local governments to look out for their best interests. But community change is more than just bashing SJWs. It's about keeping leaders from the mayor to the President responsible.

Some Blacks who are really into his career may have a change of heart. The problem with the Kanye Effect is that it focuses solely on culture and not economics. Most people vote a specific based on their economic situation. Blacks make up a large share of low wage earners, it will take more than a few celebrities to convince them to vote differently.

That family is worth well over a billion dollars and made their money from the most impressionable people on the planet. You have their followers come to your side, it is GAME OVER. This is why there is so much left backlash. West/Kardashians are highly influential people.
