Anyone who could not see from the outset that the EV push was a power over the people move is a victim of their own lack of critical thinking skills.
The ridiculous EV push is about a few people being able to control a mass population. It's much the same with the tax policies but with EV and electric everything the power to control and exploit a desired will from a handful of people is far more powerful than a tax policy.
EV and electric everything removes the ability of "rogue" (in the minds of environmentalist) energy sources as an consumer economic competitor. Remove competition and you control a market which in this case is energy. Energy drives everything so if they control electricity with no other viable alternative then those powers control everything you do and want to do. You oppose the will of those who control the power they very simply make a energy rule and cut you off until you bend the knee.

This is why passenger trains in former Soviet countries are electric. All about control.

I have a 2008 4WD four door Tacoma. No onstar, no gps, no satellite radio. Has 300k miles on it, still running like a champ. I'm gonna keep that truck as long as it'll crank.
...Yes, I have stickers on the back windows.

I agree it's all about controlling the people and every aspect of their life and make everyone suffer and be miserable.

Nope, but that's good for some jokes when we go down to Cody.

They want you to believe it’s for climate change and the environment. Dupes believe that.
It’s about being able to turn off electricity remotely. Can’t do that with gasoline.
OMG, the shite you read on this board.
Every car manufactured in recent years can be disabled remotely.

Freedom of movement limits the ability of governments to keep their producers from leaving.

However, it cost the refinery millions to turn the refinery back on.

You can easily bypass that feature on ICE vehicles. Not so much on EV.

Slave owners in the south (aka democrats) didn't want their slaves moving around freely either. They wanted them stuck on the plantation.

You not understanding the point is the least surprising thing I'll read today.

And the win is…?
If they shut off electricity, we riot - not against each other like we do when mascots die from their own bad decisions, but against them. Why would they want that?
They would lose cops and military whose families are also affected. The only way to hold us off is with drones and robots which require…electricity.

Funny how you call me stupid, but not the OP for their suggestion when we all know people can buy solar power generators.

People who complain about being dependent on the government while remaining dependent on the government amuse me.

should embrace the self-sufficiency of solar and EVs
