I know a man who was pardoned by George W. Bush for killing a bald eagle. It was an accident as he put out some poison on his farm for coyotes and an eagle took a bite. I have no idea how he managed the pardon.

Most people who have no connection to politics
usually work with their congressman to get considered
Also having a friend in the Justice Department /Attorneys who specialize
Either that or become a cause celeb ,, that's risky because the attention can also get the undesired attention
or people oppose to a pardon

Well, Delmar, it means that you and me and Pete and Tommy are gonna be the power behind the throne, so to speak

Louisiana has an automatic restoration of rights after completing a felony sentence but I'm not sure if it's considered a pardon. I've known a few people who have gone through that, although my understanding is that you still have to jump through hoops to get gun rights restored.

Yes, I know a man pardoned by Clinton. His parents straight up paid for the pardon. They did all the formal stuff someone would do when requesting a pardon, then Bill said sure, send me 250k. They did and he's walking free.

I knew Gary Plauche. He received a gubernatorial pardon from Mike Foster.

I know of an old man in my hometown that Bush 43 pardoned.
He had been convicted of bootlegging liquor across state lines in the 50's and spent a couple of years in prison.
He got out and lived a clean and productive life. Our Congressional rep knew him and got him the pardon in the last days of the Bush administration. The guy died about 6 months later.

Met the son of one and am friends with his former personal pilot.
He had some pretty loose tax evasion charges and Trump pardoned him. After that my friend flew around a lot of Trump’s inner circle on this dude’s dime.
He doesn’t have any massive tell alls other than that Don Jr is exactly how you see him good and bad.
He said Mike Huckabee is a genuinely kind man and was his favorite of the group.

Everyone is giving nice stories. I know a POS that got a pardon from Haley Barbour because his parents were well connected.
He showed up to a sting operation for an underage girl. It wasn’t Dateline but a web series with the same premise.
He owns a trucking company in Clinton. Years later he sponsored Mississippi State football and social media took hold.

I met Mark and Patricia McCloskey while they were campaigning around STL, does that count?
They were the couple that were falsely tried for pointing guns at "protestors" during the Floyd riots by STL Soros attorney Kim Gardner, and pardoned by our Governor Mike Parson.

I escorted a Federal inmate out of prison after receiving a pardon for his involvement in the Iran Contra affair. He was a CIA operative. He got very special treatment while he was an inmate at the facility. Given a lot of extra privileges. I can’t say his name.
