Technically the sun is a finite resource.

We aren't running out of fossil fuels in anyone's lifetime that is currently alive.

This is one of the many indicators that show "they" are all communicating and part of pushing this agenda. Oregon and Washington as well as California are already on record for pushing this 2035 time frame as well.

We were moving towards more green. Tesla, and all major auto manufacturers are offering electric vehicles. Biden and probably many in Washington are invested in various green energy companies, that's the big push.
We need a orderly, sensible plan to continue moving the green direction... And communicate that with us, the people who will be affected by it.
Not this authoritative forcing shite. This administration went about this arse backwards. They alienate domestic O&G, piss off Saudia Arabia... Here we are. I'm just a good ole baw and I can fricking plan better than this.
These people are so focused on things that don't matter, they neglect things that do.
They worry about trans shite, Trump,
Ukraine, and fricking Covid. They should focus on gas prices, southern border, inflation, violent crime. Why are we the people allowing this shite?

Also, automotive fuel isn't the only thing we get from oil. Raw materials for different fabrics, plastics, cleaners, many many products we use daily have ingredients from crude oil. Oil is woven deeply into our daily lives. Impossible to change all this in 10-15 years

Wish they would push this date forward. There are a lot of classic European cars that I would like to buy and have imported here. I think I'll open a classic car dealership and just have my choice of dealer tagged cars to drive. I'll finally be able to afford an XKE Jaguar.

At a minimum there are hundreds of years of oil, coal and natural gas. All proven and effective sources of energy.

Why is there such a strong push towards green? And its not really green when the components in the EV batteries are really nasty. And those EV will be powered by non green energy. Its all fantasy. You cant have enough wind and solar to handle the current need much less the added charging of EV.

If we wanted to move towards a more green form we should be building more nuclear plants and adding\replacing much of the lines, transformers and sub stations. That has to be done before we can all have EV. But to do it they way they are going will ONLY result in rolling blackouts, brownouts and "third world" type of electrical service at our homes and businesses.

But its not about fossil fuels, its about money for the people who control the green energy shite.

The libtards have no clue about lithium mining or how much copper it takes to build 1 wind turbine nor how much ore has to be processed to obtain the copper and make wire.Very energy intensive process.
Ask them, they would just reply all that is made in factories.
