The copper scroll dates to the time of the Great Jewish Revolt against Rome in 66AD. The Essenes were a radical rebel faction which occupied Herod’s old castle at Meggidoh to protect many of the treasures of Herod’s temple from the Roman’s who tore said temple down. They hid caches of treasure all over the desert, but the directions in the copper scroll utilize a lot of landmarks that ain’t dere no mo. When the Romans finally besieged Meggidoh, the Essenes were all killed or committed suicide and the scrolls they hid were not found until modern times.

Babylon kept meticulous inventory records of items seized during an invasion. The King wanted it to be done that way to insure the kingdom gained form the military expedition. Missing from the inventory from the invasion and defeat of Israel is the Ark and several other items. In the next temple there is no mention of the Ark being set in it's place within the Holy of Holies. That leads to the speculation that the Ark was hidden before Babylon invaded and was never brought back to it's original position. There is a copper scroll that details the items hidden and their locations throughout Israel. The reason for it's difficulty is the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple by the Romans. Many of the landmarks vanished over time. Some items have been discovered and reside with the Government for safe keeping until the third temple is built. Over the years almost all items necessary to bless the new temple have been discovered.
That would be evidence in favor of Israelites carrying it off prior to the invasions.
I honestly don't have an opinion on whether the Ark exists or not today. I firmly believe that it did exist when the Bible mentioned it, though.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were actually a meteorite. Have you ever seen how many people travel to Mecca to worship a meteorite?
They claim that being near the stone can cause one to become enlightened. I wonder if it's because the stone is radioactive. I don't know, but it's weird how people placed so much significance on rocks that fell from the sky back in the day. That meteorite is the like the holiest of holies for the Muslims. I wouldn't be surprised if the early Christians found one as well. Also, according to some translations of Sumerian cuneiform, the "Annunaki" back in the day supposedly came here to mine rare earth metals and other minerals. One of which was kobalt. Kobalt is also slightly radioactive. It was said they wanted kobalt because it had the ability to transform a person into a light body being.

Sammy Sosa must have been hoarding kobalt this whole time!

There is actually an Ethiopian tradition going back to the 10th century BC of them having the Ark. And there is actually some archeological evidence to suggest that it could be the case.

They don't worship a meteorite.

Plus, the timeline matches the Jewish timeline for the reign of Soloman. There are zero mentions of the Ark of the Covenant in the Bible post Soloman, so it’s very plausible that Soloman had a child with Queen Sheba, Menelek, and that he was given the Ark or took it.

What the hell else would you call it? They travel from all around the world to be near to it. It's actually a tenet of their faith. They must make a pilgrimage to Mecca at some point in their lives, if able, to be in its presence.

They don't worship a meteorite, bro. I get that you apparently don't like Islam, but be honest.

What the frick are you talking about? I don't have anything against Islam. I'm just pointing out a fact. It's the most sacred relic they have.
