Sen. Elissa Slotkin faces a new Senate ethics complaint over remarks about deterring young people from joining the Trump administration.
University of Chicago student Michael Bicksel filed the complaint Thursday.
The complaint alleges Slotkin advocated using congressional investigations and potential prosecutions to discourage government service. Slotkin disputes that characterization.

She basically called for legal pressure against Trump admin employees in order to intimidate/pressure people to not take jobs with the admin.
The case will probably not go anywhere since ethics committees usually run on some quiet level of M.A.D. but it's nice to see someone fighting back.

Critics of the pace at which this must be exposed vastly underestimate just how legitimately out of touch the average American is with respect to the goings on of our career politicians who allegedly represent our interests.
