Do you have a link? I can’t find anything backing your claim.

Click on the link I just posted, and you'll see that the episode is still there...on their pay site.

Riley definitely tweeted that they took it down after a tweet she posted calling them out.

I’m pretty sure you probably have a very strong opinion about what group of people did this which is the same group you blame for nearly any outcome you don’t like.

Dammit, forgot to log out of cwill and into sfp for this post!

Are you saying the OP and Riley are incorrect?

You’re naive as frick if you think this is just ideological. There is an end game in mind from the establishment. These companies aren’t restricting content just because they think “it’s the right thing to do”. Something greater is motivating them.

I'm saying why don't you click on this link, and then you tell me.

You think you can figure out how to do that?

edit: sorry if my sarcasm detector wasn't functioning.

I do think it's entirely possible that they took it down and then she shamed them into putting it back up. No way of knowing though.

Usual response from the headline readers when you tell them the facts.

Mainstream media and corporate America white knighting itself to the trans movement is so weird.

The constant whining about trans movement giving it more momentum, is even weirder.

There's a lot to unpack with this guy. But let me give you a couple of clues;

At Ole Miss our most coveted athletic award is the Chucky Mullins award. The main thoroughfare into campus is Chucky Mullins Drive. And the statue leading out of the tunnel is Chucky Mullins.

This doesn't fit well with the myth of Ole Miss as a backwards, race baiting Old Dixie Confederate institution.

Basically the whole Chucky Mullins story makes Mississippi State fans uncomfortable.

Yup. Just like Buntocotti (sp?) did. Not in good taste to point out on Christmas but it was a risky hit and he paid the ultimate price.

Marc Buoniconti - played at The Citadel if I recall correctly.

message remains the same - you support sheer evil

and then accuse me of it

How about

Israelis need to share the land with the people who were living on it before they showed up. They didn’t show up thinking they could share, they showed up thinking they could take. Open up the Holy Land FOR ALL in the area of ALL faiths. Jews have no extra special claim to the land of Christ.

especially the ashkenaz who are wholly unconnected to that land and the ancestry of that land

maybe someday make into a UNESCO World Heritage site for all who find religious home

A new Calvaryist movement that knows when decency calls for not thieving as wild criminals

Though I don't recall how/why Brad Gaines was portrayed in the story.

He was the one that hit Chucky on the play that paralyzed him. During life after football Brad Gains would drive from Tennessee to Mississippi on a regular basis to go visit Chucky. They became friends

The video wasn’t removed, so the Jews didn’t do this one.

Wow..One of the best episodes of that series.

Absolutely. If you aren't moved emotionally watching that episode, then there is definitely something wrong with you.

While one man was broken physically, the other was broken emotionally and continues to heal. I give credit to the Ole Miss community for welcoming him to their family. Great healing for them and him.

You'll need to correct the history books because this is how it has been recorded.

quote:

Mullins was injured on October 28, 1989, during the Ole Miss Rebels homecoming game against the Vanderbilt Commodores. He plunged head-first into a tackle of Vanderbilt fullback Brad Gaines after a short pass attempt. The impact shattered four vertebrae in cervical spine of Mullins, immediately paralyzing him.

Would take about 2 seconds for an intern to put it back on the site.

I haven't seen anything from Riley Gaines that shows her pushing false narratives so I'm just going to assume this is exactly what happened.

ESPN is hardly above doing something of the sort.

Wow. "I don't have any evidence one way or the other, so I'm just going to assume the story I want to believe is true."

Pretty much sums up this whole board when you think about it.

I don't know anything about Riley, but she called the doc a "30 for 30", when it isn't. It's an "SEC storied". I'm going to assume she was looking in the wrong place for it.

ESPN removing the Gaines' story makes no sense. It would only give Riley a bigger platform to express her views...which she is trying to take advantage of whether ESPN did it or not.
