Yea, fire the white guy and say "no no" to the racist hack.

For a non-political organization they sure do spend a hell of a lot of time talking about racism, feminism, immigration, gay rights, trannies, etc.
They have spent more time on those topics over the past 3 years than the prior 30 years combined.

Ill still watch live football on ESPN but not Gameday or any extra programming. Maybe if it werent stale and boring programming, it would override my political objections but its just bad.
I do the same thing exactly. I think it is working. Where ESPN screwed themselves is, when they saw the ratings drop, and assessed who quit watching, instead of doing what was necessary to regain the lost viewers,
THEY TRIED TO TAP A YOUNGER CROWD by pandering to them.
Big mistake, now they have alienated people like you and I more than they can recover from, without a huge change in Administration and Talking Heads, they screwed themselves
The current folks running ESPN are going down

That was unsolicited, unprovoked and unrelated to anything sports and that bullshite permeates their actual programming
It was, but even when something is "thrust upon them", they use it as an opportunity. Like the Sumlin letter. One dumbass(possibly his wife) sent a letter. SECN spent 2 segments talking about it! They probably pay athlete to do something controversial just so they can talk about and drive ratings

Many companies have followed this same road to ruin.
Companies bending over backwards to appeal to millennials has cost them far more money and customers than it has won them.

Give ESPN aids and let it die.

ESPN is not a political organization. Where sports and politics intersect, no one is told what view they must express.
At the same time, ESPN has values. We are committed to inclusion and an environment of tolerance where everyone in a diverse work force has the equal opportunity to succeed. We consider this human, not political.
Consequently, we insist that no one be denigrated for who they are including their gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs or sexual identity.

ESPN ran a banner at the bottom of the screen for 24 hours when Texas A&M refused to allow pro confederate statue protesters to gather on campus.
They crossed the line years ago and just kept going until the backlash from Hill's comments has them scurrying for cover.
I can 't say screw ESPN enough.

Growing up people loved ESPN. Now that same audience can't stand them due to their poor programming, their constant spewing of leftists political propaganda and the fact that they (audience) feels abandoned.
ESPN's (aka Disney Sports) response is flat out denial. We are a "human" organization my arse.
