I just want to point out that Epstein was a monster and deserved to die and if someone had strangled him on national televison, I think they'd deserve an award.

I think I have watched enough cop and lawyer shows on TV to understand that you only give deals to people who are guilty of something & when they can give you something in return.
How does giving these guys a deal make any sense at all?

As bad as it looks to have Epstein dead, how bad would it look for the guards to be suicided too? Especially in such a short time period?
They get a deal now, but I imagine they won't have a normal life expectancy.

Epstein isn't dead. He's alive on some private island where they bring in 16 year olds from Indonesia every week. This is all smoke and mirrors.

Thats what I thought Gumbo. So if they did not do anything wrong they would have gone to prison, but since they confessed to breaking numerous laws, they get off????
I think its modeled after our immigration. If you try and do it the right way there is rigorous testing and a years long wait, but if you admit you are illegal we give you a free trip anywhere in the US and a smorgasboard of benes.

I would have preferred he stay in prison for the rest of his life, being raped by anyone who wanted to do so.
That would have been a much better punishment. Sometimes killing is a kindness.
