I guess I'm just jaded. I don't think there would be a massive fallout. People just aren't held accountable anymore. Sure people may lose their jobs but no serious jail time for anyone IMO. Hell some in Congress would probably get reelected.

There is no chance that trump was knowingly involved in any underage sexual conduct.
He’s not a pedophile.
He hung out with Epstein and so did a lot of high worth/profile people but not everyone was involved in the pedophelia.

Im not a leftist and you assuming such is weird. Lots of folks on both sides of the aisle and in the middle smell a lot bullshite coming from the Trump admin on the issue of Epstein. why do we care....why do you or anybody else care about corruption at the highest levels of government?
Now I think it would be fair of you to ask if Mutually Assured Destruction was the reason the last admin kept the files under wraps then why are the dems in congress pushing it now...did they not get the memo? Perhaps this is nuclear option and they are willing to sacrifice some their own if it means getting of the truth of the matter...and yes they think it will hurt Trump as well.
I'll ask you this.....why did Trump allow, recommend or possibly even order the bureau of prisons to have Maxell moved from a max security to min security prison...one of the most least secure in the country actually, after her testimony to Todd Blanche?
Why would he ever consider or even hint at considering giving her a pardon?

I continue to believe both sides know there are major hurdles/hindrances to the release of more information on Epstein, and this is essentially just payback by the left of what we did to them.
